Raining-L-Ranch is a modest but functional training facility nestled in the foothills of
the Coast Range at the edge of the Willamette Valley in Oregon. It is conveniently
located between Corvallis and Eugene. Our facilities include a 80X160’ arena with all
weather footing and a 55’ solid walled round pen. The timber country and farm lands
surrounding the ranch provide endless opportunities to expose horses to “real life”.

We understand the psychological needs of
horses and appreciate how the housing
arrangements affect the behavior and mental
well-being of horses. We strive to keep
horses in the way nature intended them: room
to move and in a herd. Our stalls are not
stalls at all, but rather run-in sheds with
attached paddocks. Whenever possible, the
horses in our care are kept in groups.
